Love, she thought with disgust, recalling Loki’s taunt. How she hated that term. That word, the one that is thrown around so casually, often times used to describe one’s affections towards a car or a pet, was not appropriate at all. It is too simple a term to describe all that she feels towards Clint Barton. What she felt for the archer went beyond that. Beyond such a shallow four lettered word.
She owed him a debt. Something that she will never be able to repay. He’s the only one to know just how she was unmade. This is because he was the one that put her together again. Pulled her from the depths of a spiraling darkness and, as cliche as it was, give her new purpose. So to deem what she felt towards him as simply love would be to devalue everything he’s done for her.
It is that very debt she owes him that makes her push herself off of the floor, kick that bow out of hands and smash his head roughly against the metal railing. It was debt that made her fight to survive. She had to live after all in order to repay it. Playground rules. He saved her, she saves him. That’s how debts worked.

So apparantely my subconscious had those two hook up in my dream last night - mind you I’ve never seen an episode of “90210” in my life and the last episode of “Seventh Heaven” I’ve seen was way before he ever joined the cast. I have literally no idea ho my head conjured those two up… And of course it wasn’t actually those two, but my dream had merely casted them as FC like it was my own personal Dream RPG.
Basically those two are best friends and he has this gorgeous girlfriend - until suddenly they are not only best friends anymore. I don’t recall much, but there was this one moment they get lost in passionate kissing, before coming to their senses and then they walk home (what is sense???) and she is all apologetic and “That’ll never happen again”-ish, when he blurts all but “Please come home with me” and she is all “Well… okay.” And then they are at the house and making out and half naked, when the girlfriend comes around and they have to act all normal and not like going behind her back and being crazy in love with each other…
…and then I woke up. What the actual fuck???
